Environmental protection

We associate the fulfilment of strategic goals and environmental protection programs of the INA Group, as well as of INA MAZIVA, with the constant compliance with legal regulations, the improvement of environmental efficiency and the promotion and development of a proactive culture.

The type of business processes that are the main activity of INA MAZIVA can definitely leave an undesirable mark on the environment surrounding us, but due to the business process systematic management, we have been recognized as a good master and holder of ISO certification, certifying our business since 1999 in accordance with the ISO 14001 standards.

INA MAZIVA d.o.o monitors and continuously complies with Croatian and European legislation in the field of environmental protection - IPPC (Integrated Polution Prevention Control), REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of CHemicals).

Waste management

INA MAZIVA d.o.o. are registered in the Register of Collectors and Recovery Operators as a collector of waste oils under number S-80.
INA MAZIVA d.o.o. hold an Environmental Permit and a Waste Management Permit

INA MAZIVA d.o.o. are authorized to recover waste oils of Category I of appropriate quality, as well as to recover oily water and waste emulsions.

Through these activities, we contribute to environmental protection, the utilization of valuable properties of waste with certain economic benefits, and the fulfilment of the expectations of the wider community.

You may deliver Category I and II waste oils free of charge to our location, where they will be properly managed without risk or danger to the environment and human health.

REACH and CLP

REACH ( Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals)

is the European Union''s legal framework for chemicals. Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and has replaced many previous regulations and directives in the field of chemicals. INA MAZIVA d.o.o. continuously monitors and harmonizes its operations with all of the requirements arising from the REACH regulation.

CLP Regulation on Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures 1272/2008/EC, Implementation of Annex VIII to the CLP Regulation

Annex VIII lays down provisions on compliance, in terms of forms and content, of information regarding the emergency medical interventions for companies placing dangerous mixtures on the EU market, which must deliver them to the authorities designated by each Member State.

The information required by Annex VIII is available for use by the poison centres, who have the task to provide medical advice to the general public and medical practitioners in the event of an emergency.

INA MAZIVA d.o.o. shall fulfil its obligations arising from Annex VIII to the CLP Regulation in accordance with the set deadlines.
