Quality control

INA MAZIVA has focused its policy on a sustainable way of doing business, which means that the systematic management of health, safety and the environment, as well as trust and good cooperation with all our stakeholders, enables economic growth.

Quality control operating within the Production and Logistics Sector of INA MAZIVA d.o.o., the laboratory has been accredited since 2006 according to the requirements of the HRN EN ISO/IEC 17 025:2017 standard. “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”.

Quality control activities are:

Manual sampling of raw materials and petroleum products (used and unused) from reservoirs, containers, tank cars, tank trucks, drums, vessels and individual small packagings.
Quality testing of raw materials, packaging and labels, quality testing during the production process, final product control, raw material and products quality repeated control, from sampling to the issuance of the Quality Test Report.
Testing the properties of samples of raw materials, development formulations and commercial products using instrumental, mechanical and dynamic methods.
Testing of samples of used lubricants and related products in order to assess further usability of the product and resolve any complaints regarding product quality.
Service testing of lubricant samples and related products for external customers.
Testing of physical and chemical properties of waste lubricating oils, waste emulsions and oily water, in accordance with the Ordinance on types of waste, Ordinance on waste management and other legal regulations, and issuing, on the prescribed form, Reports on testing the physical and chemical properties of waste for thermal and chemical physical processing.
Testing and sampling of lubricants (used and unused) and related products at the request of external customers.
Systematic education of employees, improvement of business processes by applying available tools that improve and enhance the management system and the status of an accredited laboratory.

Quality Control employs 15 employees. The laboratory is qualified and equipped to implement a total of 150 different methods for testing the physical, chemical, mechanical and dynamical properties of lubricating oils, lubricating greases and related products, coolants and antirusts, environmental parameters and analysis of waste lubricant oils, waste emulsions and oily waters.
